For the Parents, cont'd
Our flag is a symbol of patriotism and love of country and an inspiration to men fighting for freedom and an emblem of faith in justice. Many have given their lives knowing that "Freedom Under God" was more precious than life without honor and liberty; our flag is a history of courage and a symbol of hope for the future. Our flag was born in independence; a symbol of our ideals, our aspirations and achievements as Americans and ever reminds us that our forefathers struggled and sacrificed to bequeath to us a free and proud country.
Our beautiful flag should remind us also that we must ever strive to honor our heritage, promote brotherhood and extend a hand of friendship and understanding. Woven into the fabric of our flag are threads of faith, honor, courage, liberty, justice and understanding. Let us strive so to live that these same threads are woven into the fabric of our characters. (except from the "Supreme Book of Ceremonies," Flag Ceremony for the United States Flag)
Job's Daughters teaches love for our country and obedience to its laws.
Each meeting we honor our country by reciting the "Pleadge of Allegiance" and singing out Nationatal Anthem, "Star Spangled Banner."
Please encourage your daughters to be prepared by memorizing the
"Pledge of Allegiance" and the "Star Spangled Banner."
"I pledge allegiance to the flag
of the United States of America,
and to the republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all."

Keeping track of events and pictures is a monumental task.
You all take great pictures and we would love to have them on our website.
It would be great, if you could place in the "message" line, what event the pictures go with. Depending on space and volume of pictures sent. I will update our photo albums to include as many as possible.
All Job's Daughters have signed a wavier for picture use. If at anytime, anyone does have an issue with a picture that has been posted, please contact Mom Pam immediately!
You may also use this feature to "File Upload" pdfs, word docs, etc for any upcoming project needs. If you are interested in using a page for this type of information, send and it will be published.
At any time you have suggestions, questions or ideas

Upon the America flag entering in the room, following actions occur by all members in attendance: Stand when Honored Queen raps the gavel, Face The Flag with Right Hand Over Heart (fingers together). Remain in this position until the Star Spangled Banner has been sung and the Pledge has been completed by the acknowledgement of the Honored Queen.
